He specializes in tennis performance and has worked with players across the junior, collegiate, and professional levels, bringing a deep understanding of what it takes to develop complete, durable, and explosive athletes.
Dean’s professional tennis experience includes working with Eugenie Bouchard, the first professional player he coached, as well as Elena Vesnina, a Grand Slam champion, Olympic gold medalist, and former world No. 1 doubles player. Dean is also an integral member of Team PTR, contributing to the development of educational content for tennis certification programs and helping to shape the next generation of coaches. As an educator and presenter, he has delivered presentations and masterclasses around the world on a wide range of topics, exploring virtually every facet of athletic development, tennis performance, and injury prevention. His ability to translate complex performance concepts into clear, practical coaching strategies has made him a sought-after presenter for coaches, clubs, academies, and organizations internationally.
In 2022, Dean was honored as PTR Volunteer of the Year in recognition of his outstanding dedication and service to the profession.
